ONCE again it was a hugely successful apple pressing day at Penstone Glade near Coleford last month when people took along bags, barrows and boxes of apples to be pressed into juice.

Everyone who joined in was able to take home as much juice as they wanted, including some serious cider makers.

The annual event is organised by Penstone Glade Committee, but with a lot of help from lots of adults and children who took along apples and helped with macerating, pressing and bottling.

The Glade Committee thanks all who went and made the event such a success and also those who took delicious food and drink to share.  It was great to see so many people using and enjoying the Glade.
