COMMUNITY spirit and vintage charm take centre stage at the end of this month as the bi-annual Coldridge Fete and Vintage Rally, Flower Festival and Dog Show returns on Saturday, June 27.

Running from 11am to 5pm, this highly anticipated summer gathering promises a full day of family-friendly entertainment celebrating the very best of Mid-Devon heritage and culture.

Held at the Fete Field (EX17 6AX), the event brings together motoring enthusiasts, families, and dog lovers alike.

Attendees can get up close to an impressive display of vintage tractors and classic cars, test their skills on a bouncy castle assault course, and witness live demonstrations of traditional countryside skills and birds of prey.

There will be a packed schedule of attractions, including:

The Family Dog Show and Competitions: A chance for local pet owners to showcase their furry friends.

St Matthew’s Church Flower Festival: A stunning, peaceful exhibition of local floral artistry hosted inside the historic village church.

Live Music and Entertainment: All-day musical performances paired with a dedicated children’s entertainer and games.

Local Food and Drink: A summer BBQ, traditional tea tent, fresh cakes, ice cream, and a fully licensed bar.

Craft, Trade and Plant Stalls: regional makers, alongside a tombola and a Grand Prize Draw.

"This event is the heartbeat of our summer season," said organisers. "It is a fantastic opportunity for locals and visitors to come together, enjoy great food, see incredible vintage vehicles, and support our community."

The event directly benefits the local community, with all proceeds raised going toward Coldridge Village Hall and St Matthew’s Church Fabric Fund.

Admission is £5 for adults, while children aged 16 and under enter for free. Free parking is available directly on-site at the Fete Field.
