HAYWARD’S school pupil, Emily Gutans has received a Gold Book Track Award at Crediton Library after reading 100 books in less than a year.

Emily (6) received a certificate and badge from Crediton Library supervisor Sue Lee.

Emily loves to read all kinds of books and is reading a Maisy Mouse book next.

At school Emily loves to learn about lots of things. She has a real thirst for learning and is looking forward to starting Year 3 in September so she can learn even more.

During break times Emily likes playing with her friends and in her spare time she enjoys swimming.

The Gold Book Track is part of The Devon Libraries Book Track reading scheme which is for children aged six years and over who are developing reading confidence and are happy to talk about books they have read.ORDER YOUR DIGITAL EDITION HERE
