THE former Customer Services Manager at Crediton Morrisons store has launched a fundraising effort, 15FOUR15, to raise money for four charities, Samaritans, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), Somerset and Wessex Eating Disorders Association (SWEDA) and In Charley’s Memory.

Elliott Collett explained: “The stats don’t lie. One in four people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year, I am one in four.

“After being a 20-a-day smoker to help ease my anxiety, I have found a healthy release in running.

“I want to use my coping mechanism to help others to find theirs.

“I plan to partake in 15 running races over the next 15 months; starting with a small 5k run, building up to a full marathon.”

Elliott (25) said that all money raised will be split equally between all four charities.

He hopes that people will support him in his fundraising efforts and has a gofundme page if anyone would like to donate at: https://uk.gofundme.com/f/ezge4w-15four15 .

Elliott hopes to raise £1,000 each for his four selected charities.
