EACH class at Hayward’s Primary School, Crediton chose a Roald Dahl book and took part in some themed activities around it.

Staff and children dressed as their favourite Road Dahl characters which included the BFG, The Twits, Willy Wonka and Mr Fox to celebrate Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday.

The Roald Dahl Day was also used to launch the school’s Big Friendly Reading Challenge, which aims to encourage the children to keep reading at home.
