BOW Community Primary School held its second whole school Art Exhibition on Thursday, November 30.

Linda Williamson, head of art at the school explained that the focus was ceramics, with each class learning about a different artist.

She explained: "Each child exhibited their clay piece for their families and the local community to see.

"The exhibition was a great success and the children were very proud of their creations.

"Two of the artists, who were the inspiration for the classes clay pieces, were so impressed with the work that they said: ‘I take a lot of inspiration from children's art, the work you sent through is lovely.’; ‘Your students are so talented and express themselves so well artistically.’

"And in response to the children’s gargoyles, Exeter Cathedral said: ‘I have to say I am very impressed with the completed clay pieces a real credit to your students’."
