MORNINGS are a special time of day.

Mistakes haven't yet been made, fresh ideas have yet to be tested, and although we may have made plans for the day, those plans might change and so we don't quite know exactly how the day will pan out.

Mornings can be exciting if we allow them to be... they are full of promise and fresh hope.

Mornings, especially early ones, buzz with potential.

Perhaps this is why Jesus embraced them, too. And, perhaps most significant of all, the resurrection of Jesus was discovered “at dawn on the first day of the week".

Easter Sunday is a time when Christians remember that the resurrection of Jesus, His rising to life again, means a fresh start.

A new day, filled with space for forgiveness, celebration and hope dawns for us if we grasp it.  Easter opens up endless possibilities and releases fresh potential if we allow it to.

Easter is the sign, that death is not the end and that another reality is possible. We see signs of new life around us, daffodils coming into bloom... just look around the grounds of Holy Cross; the weather becoming milder.  Easter offers us new life to grasp our God-given potential and to flourish as human beings and to embrace love, compassion and joy!

A happy Easter to you all!
