Early Birds Nursery, Crediton celebrated their 17th Birthday, with a cake made by Triple C Café.

The nursery was set up on September 7,1992 by Manager Shaaron Hooper, Jane Tipping and Jill Mercer and all three are still at the nursery.

The nursery employs 14 members of staff and is proud that the staff are of various ages ranging for 20 to the more mature.

The children at Early Birds are aged from two years up to school age, with Night Owls taking children from Landscore, including Year 6, before and after school hours.

The holiday club caters for children up to the age of 8 years and is also open to children outside of Landscore.

Early Birds open at 8am and closes at 6pm and is open all year except for two weeks at Christmas and on Bank Holidays.

Each term the children have a theme and the theme for the Autumn term is "Let's pretend," which will lead up to the Christmas Play.

The play is written each year by Shaaron, Jane and Jill and will be tailored to the children and to the theme. The children and staff are already looking forward to this year's play.
