DOWN St Mary Women’s Institute has presented a cheque for £440 to the charity, ELF, Exeter Leukaemia Fund, which was half of the profit raised at a High Tea it held, with a Royal theme, in Down St Mary Village Hall in April.

The event was well attended and WI members acted as waitresses to serve teas at tables on the day.

The cheque was recently presented to Natalia Searle, fundraising manager for ELF by member Daphne Larter.
