Do you recognise Cheriton Fitzpaine bogus caller?

POLICE in Mid Devon have issued an Evofit of a suspect following an incident involving a bogus caller.

The incident occurred on either Tuesday, November 11 or Wednesday, November 12 at a property in Cheriton Fitzpaine.

A man attended the property pretending to be a utility employee, asking to read the meter.

He entered the house and was left alone for a short period.

A few days later a genuine meter reader attended and enquires with the utility company revealed that the original caller was bogus.

The victim then discovered that her driving licence had been stolen.

The suspect is described as being a white man, aged 20 years, approximately 5' 10" in height, slim build, with short brown wavy hair, clean shaven and wearing a blue jumper and blue trousers.
