PARABADMINTON champion, David Follett will share his extraordinary story “Tragedy to Triumph” on Saturday, April 9 at the Boniface Centre, Crediton, which will raise funds for Exeter Leukaemia Fund.
Following a devastating accident as a teenager and faced with many challenges, David has rebuilt a full life, achieving outstanding sporting and academic success.
Admission to hospital, rehabilitation, living with a spinal cord injury and finding success and fulfilment through wheelchair sports, David’s story is truly inspirational.
The evening is organised by the Crediton Group of ELF, doors open at 6.30pm with a start time of 7pm.
There will also be a Silent Auction with a fabulous selection of lots.
Entry is £5 per person which includes a hot dog and tickets are available from the ELF shop in Crediton High Street.
