BRAVING the shave after growing his hair during lockdown, Dave Blanchford, from Crediton, lost the lot on Sunday, August 30 to raise funds for Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).

The head shave took place at Crediton Football Club, starting at 3pm when Dave’s four-years-old granddaughter, Frankie, made the first cut.

Dave hopes to have raised more than £2,500 in sponsorship for the charity, to-date.

Anyone wishing to sponsor Dave to help the charity can do so directly or online at: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/dave-blanchford .
