MEMBERS of the Cheriton Fitzpaine Bonfire Society took to the streets of the village to collect wood left out by residents.
The bonfire this year will be on Saturday, November 1 in the field behind White Cross. The What3Words location is: frizzled.receiving.prevents.
The gates will open at 5.30pm, the fire will be lit at 6pm, and fireworks at 7pm.
Tickets cost £7 for adults, £4 for children, under-threes go free.
No sparklers please. Hog roast, burgers and chips from Kenniford Farm, and coffee from Devon Coffee Cart - cash only.
