WINNERS of the Christmas lights competition at Yeoford this year were Dan and Nicki who had squeezed lots of lights and decorations including a polar bear, Father Christmas and a big, fat blow-up elf onto the area outside their home on Yeo View.

Second prize went to Rose Cottage, the home of Roger and Di Brooking who had festooned the front of their thatched home with hundreds of white lights, almost hiding the house.

Third prize went to the enormous cone shaped “tree” covered in coloured lights in the garden of Moorlands at Yeoford Meadow.

This was the third Yeoford Festival of Light organised by Cllr Sandy Chenore who lives in Yeoford and is a Crediton Town and Mid Devon District councillor.

First prize was a £50 voucher for The Duck at Yeoford, sponsored by Crediton Hamlets Parish Council. 

Judge was Cllr David Parker, Crediton Hamlets councillor, who lives at Hookway.
