THE Friends of Newcombes Surgery, in Crediton, held its AGM on February 10 at the surgery and officers elected were Sheila Job, chairman, Lee Chudley, secretary, Norman Ponsford, treasurer and June Chudley, press officer.

Fundraising had been successful enabling the Friends to order a new ECG machine.

The defibrillator which was purchased recently has been successfully used twice.

Thanks go to Karen for standing in for Lee, who is unwell at present.

The next date for the diary is Friday, April 8 when a bingo evening will be held at Crediton Football Club. Further dates will be announced in the Crediton Courier.
