CREDITON Town Band has announced that it is unable to go ahead with its free concert in Crediton Town Square this evening, Friday, July 31.

Band chairman Chris Richards explained that the cancellation is “due to recent illness of key players”.

He added: “If we have sufficient players we may try to play there later in August.

“Please inform anyone you know who intended coming.”
