SAM Kingsland, a Year 13 students at Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton, has achieved a silver award in the UK round of the International Chemistry Olympiad.
This is a competition that QE has entered for many years and Sam continues the strong track record of success of students from the outstanding Sixth Form.
The questions asked in the competition were of a high academic standard and intentionally covered topics that students would not have encountered in their A level studies.
Problem solving skills are key to achieving success in the Olympiad and for Sam to achieve silver suggests he has this ability in abundance.
Congratulations Sam!
