THE First Crediton Scout Group is operating its Christmas postal service in Crediton town again this year.

By kind permission of many shops and businesses, postal boxes and stamp buying facilities will be available from Monday, November 12.

The post boxes are located at the Crediton Courier office, Landscore Stores, Bradleys estate agents, Mole Avon Town and Countrywear, Treloars Delicatessen, the Community Hall at Clifford Gardens and at Lewis’s DAR on Lords Meadow Industrial Estate.

The stamps cost just 25p. Please note: No outlying villages are included in the delivery area.

The boxes will be in place until Friday, December 14 (12 noon) when all the cards will be collected and posted by the Scouts and Leaders.

Last year the Scout postal service was declared a big success, and raised £204.20 for much-needed Scout funds from almost a thousand cards delivered.
