A NUMBER of Crediton residents have this morning, Monday, June 28, been without power since about 2am.

A total of 37 properties in the Willow Walk area of Crediton are affected.

The fault was reported to Western Power at 3.34am and an initial time of when power would be restored was given as 11am.

The time has now been extended to 2pm.

A local resident said she has spoken to a Western Power worker at the scene at 11.30am, who told her that the fault had been found but that he was awaiting a dig crew.

The local resident said at 12.15pm: “Sadly no dig crew has arrived yet!”

Willow Walk also suffered from an early morning power cut two weeks ago.
