GIRLS from the First and Second Crediton Rainbow Guides are celebrating the 30th birthday of Rainbow Guides nationally by working towards a special 30 Challenge Badge.
One of their challenges has been learning about local Food Banks. Both units decorated cakes and invited their families back to share them with a cup of coffee!
The Rainbows asked for donations of tins and dried food instead of money for Crediton Food Bank and managed to achieve a target of collecting at least 30 items from each of the two units. In fact they managed to collect 74 items!
The First Crediton Rainbows also enjoyed a visit to Crediton Food Bank at Crediton Congregational Church, to deliver everything and learn more about the food bank.
