A DIABETES Awareness Day was recently held at Hayward’s Primary School in Crediton.
Two of the children at the school, Amelia and Jensen have Type 1 Diabetes.
On the day the children and members of staff each paid a 50p donation to dress in blue (the colour of Diabetes UK).
They also walked one mile around the school grounds, raising £195 for the charity.
