CREDITON Post Office has banned groups of schoolchildren from its Market Street premises due to “continuous theft from a group of QE pupils”.
It said any pupils wearing Queen Elizabeth’s School uniform will be “asked to leave the premises unless accompanied by an adult”.
“We unfortunately are not a charity and cannot afford to keep accepting losses caused by theft,” said a spokesperson.
“We will be contacting QE today to make them aware of this situation.”
The Crediton Courier has contacted Queen Elizabeth’s School for comment.
