THE Mayoress of Crediton, Mrs Natalia Letch, was the star of a coffee morning on Saturday, July 16, held in the garden of Peter and Wyn Saunders of Crediton.

Many Moose members were joined by the Mayor of Crediton, Cllr Frank Letch and Natalia when Frank was presented with a £500 cheque for his charity REACH.

This was presented by Peter Saunders on behalf of all the members of Wheatey St Michael Moose Lodge in Exeter.

Before the presentation Natalia sang two Russian folk songs which were greatly appreciated by all present.

Refreshments were served by the Saunders family of all ages!

A raffle was well-supported enabling Wyn to present Mrs Janet Chugg, president of Wheatley Ladies, with £165 to boost their appeal for local charities.

Many members from Crediton transferred to Wheatley when the Crediton branch closed.
