RON Cuthbertson, a Crediton resident and retired employee of the Met Office in Bracknell, gave a fascinating, and sometimes moving, talk about his early years, to members of the Crediton and Area branch of Devon Senior Voice (DSV) at their August meeting.

Ron’s story jogged the memories of many other members and there followed a lively discussion. Chair, Carole Towler, thanked Ron for sharing his childhood memories, and for all the work he has contributed to Devon Senior voice over the years.

The talk was followed by the monthly committee meeting. DSV’s next meeting will be at the Meadow Suite, Lords Meadow Leisure Centre, on Wednesday, September 13 from 2pm to 4pm.

The speaker will be Dr Paul Cleave, who will talk about his interest in food and also give some feedback about the research DSV members contributed to earlier in the year.
