EMILY (12), a pupil at Chulmleigh College, successfully finished her Booktrack using Crediton Library’s current scheme of readers, being able to email in their reviews of books that they have read, so that they can discuss them with library staff electronically.

She started her Booktrack in July last year and so had read through her 100 titles in an amazing 14 months - even more remarkable when you consider that some of the titles in her last batch included the rather weighty "Lord of the Rings" and Charles Dickens’ "A Tale of Two Cities".

Emily’s favourite reads were generally fantasy and folklore titles, and there have been some lively discussions about these over the past year or so - most of them even taking place in the library!

Library staff look forward to hearing more from Emily in the future as her reading journey continues.
