FOLLOWING a number of very successful years of involvement, the Rotary Club of Crediton Boniface has joined a small group of other Rotary Clubs again this year to take part in the 2016 South East Devon Community Raffle.

In the last six years it has raised more than £200,000 for numerous organisations in Devon.

When funding is needed by a local group, the logistics and administration problems of organising a raffle with appealing prizes can be too much, particularly for small clubs, to handle.

However, with the help of the South East Devon Community Raffle, organisations can raise as much money as they are able, without any of these problems.

Rotary is providing a “ready made” Super Raffle, complete with major prizes worth more than £1,750, in which an organisation can take part without any costs to themselves.

Rotary makes no profit as the raffle is run as a community service project.

All that the organisation members have to do is sell the tickets and keep 90 per cent of the money.

The size of the group or organisation is irrelevant, large or small it can take part with members selling as many tickets as they can within the resources they have available to them.

The raffle will run from May 1 to October 31 and the prize draw will take place in November.

Once an organisation has registered to join, it will receive books of five tickets, selling for £1 each ticket. Tickets can be made available to organisations in multiples of 100.

If your organisation or group would like to take part in this Community Raffle and are in the Crediton area, then please contact Paul Radnor on 01363 773002 for further details and a registration form.
