CREDITON Town Council budgets a sum of money every financial year for grants to local voluntary or charitable organisations where the activities will contribute to, and be of benefit to, the life or community and benefit the people of Crediton.

In the financial year 2023-24, the following grants were awarded:

Age Concern Crediton £2,000, Boniface Trail Association £400, Crediton Arts Centre - Busk It! £800, Churches Housing Action Team (Mid Devon) Ltd (CHAT) £2,000, Crediton Operatic and Dramatic Society (CODS) £1,000, Crediton Area History and Museum Society £1,000, Crediton Arts Centre £1,000, Crediton Arts Centre - Much Ado about Nothing £600, Crediton Foodbank £2,000, Crediton Food and Drink Festival £750, Crediton Food Larder £500, Crediton Rugby Football Club £1,250, Crediton Town Band £600, Crediton Heart Project £1,000, Crediton Town Team - Flag Project £1,750, Crediton Town Team £1,000, Crediton Youth Orchestra £1,000, Crediton Youth Theatre £1,000, Crediton United Football Club £1,250, Journey Counselling Service £500, Mid Devon Mobility £1,500, North Creedy Choral Society £600, Significant Seams CIC £1,000, St Boniface Concert Society £600, Sustainable Crediton £1,000, The Turning Tides Project £1,000, The Bookery £1,000, Torridge, North, Mid and West Devon Citizens Advice £3,000 and Unite Carers in Mid Devon £1,500.

The deadline for submitting applications for 2024-2025 is September 30, 2023.
