ON a sunny Saturday morning people could savour home-made cakes and a cuppa while discussing plant merits with members of Crediton Garden Club at Crediton Library.

There were stalls inside and outside, lots of plants for sale varying from red campions and oxeye daisies, herbs to more unusual plants including one brought back from Georgia in the Caucasus with an almost black flower.

Plants had been grown by members. The morning raised £275.13.
