THE Crediton Fellowship visited Teignmouth for its summer trip this year.

The local group had their numbers boosted from around 30 to more than 40, thanks to responses from a piece in the “Crediton Courier”.

The group left from Crediton and had a coach trip down to Teignmouth, where they dispersed for a look around the town and a walk along the seafront.

Mo Turner, who organised the day, said: “The weather was just about right for the trip, being warm but not too sunny and everyone enjoyed their time having a stroll around.

“On the way home we called into the Powderham Garden Centre for a cream tea in The Orangery before embarking for the final leg back to Crediton.

"Thank you to everyone that came along today, it was lovely to see you all, Fellowship members and those that joined us for the day. It was a beautiful day out which I hope that everyone enjoyed."

The Crediton Fellowship meet on the second Monday of every month at the Boniface Centre in Crediton. New members are always welcome to attend.
