VOLUNTEERS from [CUT!], Crediton Urban Taskforce took part in another day of action, clearing up in the Town Square on Saturday, June 13.

The helpers did a great job, with pavements cleared from weeds and walls, litter picked up and everything swept clean and tidy.

The weather was kind for the event and all ages and nationalities took part.

[CUT!] is a volunteer-led initiative that was brought forward by members of the community and supported by Crediton Town Council, which is grateful for the volunteers efforts.

Weeding is a non-statutory service that was once provided by Mid Devon District Council but that service was withdrawn.
