EXETER Festival Chorus will present a concert entitled "From Darkness to Light, Voices on War and Reconciliation" with Abbey Brass, in Crediton Parish Church on Saturday, November 12.
The renowned choir, with musical director Nigel Perrin, perform in the South West and overseas and will be led for the Crediton concert by guest conductor, Andrew Millington.

Then will follow Purcell’s "Funeral Sentences", composed in 1695, for the funeral ceremony of Queen Mary II, which are recognised as some of his most sublime music.
The main work will be Jonathan Willcocks’ "From Darkness to Light", a requiem taking its text from the Latin mass in juxtaposition with the modern poetry of US Korean War veteran Ryland Baldwin.
The concert will begin at 7.30pm.
