CREDITON-based animal feed manufacturer, Brinicombe Agri, part of The Denis Brinicombe Group, was awarded the trophy for Best Indoor Trade Stand at the recent National Beef Association, Beef Expo held in Bakewell, Derbyshire.

The family-owned business supplies farmers across the country with animal feed products that target the health and well-being of livestock, maximising production and returns for farmers.

The show stand exhibited highly specialised nutritional cattle products, including the popular “Tubby” range.

Beef Expo brings together all aspects of the British beef industry and the award was voted for by the agricultural students of Newton Rigg College.

Brinicombe sales director, Tracy Hosegood, said: “We are thrilled to win an award from Beef Expo. This event is highly recognised by our customers who operate within the British beef industry.

The Denis Brinicombe Group recently sponsored the Jonathan Wood Vets Open Day “Maximising Fertility in the Beef Herd", a farm walk and discussion covering compact calving periods, nutrition of the suckler cow, replacement heifer management and bull selection, with an introduction to Artificial Insemination.
