A TOTAL of 28 girls from the 4th Crediton Brownies enjoyed a sleepover at the Scout Headquarters in Exeter on Saturday, October 28.

They had a cooking theme and made a variety of different items including bread, scones, cupcakes, jam tarts, rocky road and of course Brownies!

They also made some craft items including butterfly pegs, cupcake owls, candle holders, book hedgehogs and bunting.

On the Saturday night they had a special treat of Domino’s pizza.

On the Sunday they decorated the room with the bunting and gave Brown Owl, Caroline Isaac a surprise party to celebrate her 30th year as a Brownie Leader.

Caroline had to judge the cupcake competition which was very difficult but was won by Lauren Narramore. She was also presented with her 30-year badge and gifts as well as an owl cake.

The girls all gained the Great Guiding Cooking Challenge Badge.

Thanks go to Charley Finch (Snowy Owl), Kim Voysey (Screech Owl), Georgina Voysey (Little Owl) and Natalia Turner (Elf Owl) for all their hard work in making the weekend a success.
