Saturday, July 11 – six mixed rinks v United Services (home) this game was played in weather conditions more suited to swimming that bowling – the game ended after 18 ends of bowls when heavy rain made play impossible. Crediton were losing by 70-85 shots at the close of play.
Saturday, July 18 – six mixed triples v Byeways (home) J Burton won 25-13, R Fickling lost 16-17, P Martin won 29-14, J Abbott lost 14-21, J Martin won 18-11 and C Bishop won 29-5. Crediton won by 131-81 shots.
Four mixed rinks v Bradninch (away) T Chamberlain won 19-17, D Richards won 27-15, T Richards won 33-11 and T Newberry won 36-7. Crediton won by 115-50 shots.
Monday, July 20 – four mixed rinks v Axminster (home) T Richards won 27-16, R Rooke won 24-10, R Fickling won 24-13 and A Hopper won 21-13. Crediton won by 96-57 shots.

Monday, July 6 – five men's bowling disciplines v Exonia (away) Crediton suffered 0-5 away defeat at Exonia.
MEN'S CLUB PAIRS FINAL
Sunday, July 12 – two new names will be on the Men's Club Pairs trophy this year after Trevor Newberry and Arthur Turner defeated Larry Parker and Peter Page in the final.
Newberry and Turner were leading by 14-7 shots after 12 ends of bowls – but Parker and Page pulled level 15 – 15 after 17 ends – but unfortunately they dropped a four on the next end - which they never recovered from. Newberry and Turner won by 23-15 shots.
MIDDLETON CUP
Saturday, July 18 - Crediton bowler Mark Theedom was a member of the victorious Devon men's bowling team that have reached the semi final of Bowls England Middleton Cup, they achieved this by beating Durham at Norgren Bowling Club, Warwickshire, by 117-97 shots.
Devon, who are the reigning champions, will now meet Yorkshire at Worthing on Saturday, August 22. Cornwall will play Hampshire in the other Semi Final.
CLUB BARBECUE NIGHT
Saturday, July 11 – cold wind and rain could not stop the 'hot coals' of master chef Edward Staite and his three junior chefs – Richard Grant, Roy Pollard and David Rainford from producing barbecue food of the highest standard for yet another excellent social evening.

Tuesday, July 7 – two ladies' triples v Shaldon (home) M Grant won 28-11 and C Bishop won 20-13. Crediton won by 48-24 shots.
Wednesday, July 8 – two ladies' triples v Sidmouth (away) C Bishop lost 15-19 and J Martin won 15-14. Crediton lost by 30-33 shots.
Monday, July 20 – two ladies' triples v Bitton Park (home) D Richards won 19-12 and J Martin won 22-10. Crediton won by 41-22 shots.
LADIES' INTERCLUB
Wednesday, July 9 – two ladies' rinks v Heavitree (match played at Exonia, Exeter) Crediton ladies' had a convincing won over Heavitree in the third round of the Interclub competition. J Martin won 23-14 and C Bishop won 22-10. Crediton won by 45-24 shots. Crediton will now play Newton Abbot in the forth round at Heavitree.
LADIES' CLUB PAIRS
Sunday, July 12 – only seven ladies' pairs entered the Ladies' Club Pairs this year – the event was won by Mary Abbott and Joan Martin who defeated Jill Heal and Christine Marshall in the final.
Quarter Final – M Abbott and J Martin - beat M Radnor and C Bishop 24-16; F Hopper and G Fribbens – beat P Staite and C Haywood 16-14; J Cole and M Grant lost to C Rainford and D Richards 9-19.
Semi-Final – M Abbott and J Martin – beat F Hopper and G Fribbens 32-12; C Rainford and D Richards lost to J Heal and C Marshall 18-21.
Final - M Abbott and J Martin – beat J Heal and C Marshall 25-12.
