MANY people from the Boniface Court and Mill Street area of Crediton took part in the ninth national applause of thanks to key, care and health workers helping in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic on Thursday, May 21.
A large number of local residents took part and, again, many pots and pans were also bashed and musical instruments played.
The organisers of the Clap for Carers campaign started it online and said it was being staged because "during these unprecedented times, (NHS staff) need to know we are grateful".
