MORE than a quarter of the population will need to be given blood at least once in their lives which is why the regular visits by the NHS Blood and Transplant vehicle are so important.

To guarantee blood to every patient who needs it, the NHS relies on 6,000 donors attending one of its sessions every single day.

The next session at Crediton will be on Wednesday, October 28 at the Boniface Centre, Church Lane.
