HUGELY-popular Crediton band “Skindeep” will launch its debut album “New Life” at the Buccaneers Bar in Crediton on Saturday, April 14.

The launch will see the band members, Mark Northcott, Gideon Letch, Tristan Tucker and Adam Moore, play all the tracks from the album during the evening.

The tracks featured include “New Life”, “Enemy”, “Forsaken”, “Blood on my Hands”, “Hard to Get”, “Anger Awaits”, “Hollow”, “Rain Down”, “Washaway” and “Bleed”

“Skindeep” play hard rock/accessible metal and “Metallica” has been a good influence, the band members explained.

Tristan Tucker explained: “Our CD features some of the songs we have been performing for a long time and it is great to get them recorded. We are really proud of it and hope it will sell well.

“We had our first ever gig at the Battle of the Bands in Okehampton in 2012 and we have been performing ever since, although lately we have been concentrating on getting the CD recorded.”

One of the former band members, Mike, will also be joining the band to play at the launch. Support during the launch evening will be from “Given Up The Ghost”.

The CD is available at £10 from local outlets and on the evening admission will be £4, but those attending will be able to purchase the CD for the special price of £6.

Doors open at 7.30pm.
