AN upcoming Crediton gig will celebrate the life of Julian Piper, founder of the band “Papa Gator”, who died recently.
"Papa ’Gator", will play at Buccaneers Bar, Crediton, from 8pm on Friday, November 1.
The band plays a potent "Gumbo” of Cajun, Zydeco, Blues and Soul designed to make people dance, drink and let the good times roll!
It is described as the kind of music you might hear howling across the Louisiana bayous on a hot Saturday night…
The five-piece band was the brainchild of international bluesman Julian Piper, who tragically and unexpectedly passed away recently.
Whilst it was not an easy decision to make, the band, with his daughter Lucy Piper on drums, decided to reshuffle their line up and keep the music going in tribute to Julian.
