First aid courses in Crediton taught by practising medics

IAN and Rose Bosley of WAFA run nationally accredited first aid courses from their new premises in Marsh Road on Lords Meadow Industrial Estate.

Many local people and businesses have taken courses with WAFA who were previously based at Reedy Vale on the industrial estate, where they ran courses during the last seven years.

A large conference room at their new premises will allow Ian and Rose to expand the number of courses they run. The new facility offers a lighter, brighter and more modern learning environment for students taking courses and offers them a better learning experience.

WAFA are very friendly and approachable and offer courses at competitive rates without the need to travel further afield.

The courses currently include first aid at work, emergency first aid at work, paediatric first aid for people working in nurseries and schools and manual handling for carers.

New courses will be introduced over the next 12 months and include an outdoor first aid course for those working outdoors and Medicine In Remote Areas (MIRA) which will be of benefit to anyone planning an expedition or working overseas.

All the courses are taught by practising medics.
