TO support local Christmas programmes and to enhance trade in the market towns of Mid Devon, 24-hour free parking will be available in the council’s long-stay car parks in the run up to Christmas.

As agreed by Mid Devon District Council’s Cabinet on Thursday, October 17, parking will be available as in previous years on the following Saturday’s as follows:

Crediton – St Saviour’s Way Car Park - Saturday, November 23 (Christmas lights switch-on) and Saturdays, December 7, 14 and 21.

Cullompton – Station Road Car Park - Saturday, November 30 (Christmas lights switch-on) and Saturdays, December 7, 14 and 21.

Tiverton – Multi-Storey Car Park - Saturday, November 30 (Christmas lights switch-on) and Saturdays, December 7 , 14 and 21.

Normal parking charges apply at the above car parks on all other days of the year.
