I WAS recently telephoned by a company who called themselves Five Starz Cleaning, Carpet Upholstery Cleaning Specialists from Bournemouth.

Thinking about the conversation afterwards I felt uneasy as there were some discrepancies in what they had told me I decided not to proceed with having my stair carpet cleaned by them.

I could not contact them to cancel because they left me no contact details, so I had to wait for them to telephone me to explain that I had changed my mind and didn’t want to proceed. I thought it might be a bait and switch scam.

Later that day I was left a very rude answerphone message from a representative of Five Starz Cleaning who was not happy that I had cancelled.

I would like to warn others to be wary of this company.
