I AM delighted to report, as a result of the band concert presented by Crediton Branch RBL and the Semper Fidelis Band of Devonshire at Crediton Congregational Church on Saturday, March 7, £633.82 has been forwarded to the Help for Heroes Charity.
Those who attended will be interested to know the bucket collection realised £166.82.
Sincere thanks go to Phillips (Print and Stationery) Ltd. for the free printing, Ivor Coram Shoes for selling the tickets, to the Crediton Courier for publicity and to the Congregational Church for the use of their premises.
Help for Heroes has raised over £17m since its formation in October 2007, a truly remarkable figure which reflects the public generosity such as demonstrated by the people of Crediton and District.
