A TRIBUTE Concert by Queen Elizabeth’s School Jazz Band will be held at Cheriton Fitzpaine Parish Hall tomorrow, Saturday, July 15, in memory of village resident and former Deputy Head at QE, Maralyn Kempson, who died in January.

The concert starts at 7.30pm with doors open from 7pm and there will be a bar.

Maralyn lived in Cheriton Fitzpaine from 1973 and became very involved in community life.

She was an active member of the WI, the Parochial Church Council, and of the Village Hall Committee, of which she became Chair.

She delighted in the refurbishment of the hall, was active in the planning and fund-raising that went with it, and was proud and even more delighted to open the hall in the company of Jean Carr in July 2016.

Entry to the concert is free but there will be a retiring collection in aid of the parish hall.
