AS always, whatever happens, the community of Cheriton Fitzpaine works together to overcome the problem. Covid-19 is no exception.
The Community Shop continues to open - albeit on reduced hours, 9am-11am. Only one customer is allowed in at a time, and the others wait patiently at a safe distance from each other, greeting old friends and making new ones.
Orders can be telephoned into the shop (01363 866308) and either delivered by volunteers in recyclable bags kindly supplied by Tesco, or collected from the Methodist Church.
Newspapers are still being delivered daily, or picked up from outside the shop.
