HELD at Crediton Congregational Church is the popular monthly Crediton Community Lunch Club which takes place on the last Friday of every month.
The Lunch Club was set up in November 2018 as a monthly event run by Crediton Congregational Church as part of its Community Support Outreach.
Open to all, it offers a relaxed, friendly and safe space for people to gather, make friends and have a healthy "home-cooked" meal.
Volunteers run the event and volunteer local cooks work hard to prepare nourishing food for those who go along.
On March 15, early because of Easter, the Lunch Club menu included roast chicken and stuffing, roast potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and gravy and there was also a vegetarian option.
The meal concluded with cake with a cup of tea or coffee.
The meal is “Pay-What-You-Like”, offering the chance for people to pay what they can afford.
