CREDITON Town Band presents its annual Christmas Concert on Saturday, December 10, a the Crediton Congregational Church (opposite St Saviour’s Way), beginning at 7pm.

This year the band welcomes Crediton Community Choir as its special guest.

Both the Band and Choir will be playing or singing a number of items including all of the public’s favourites.

Tickets, priced £6 for adults, free for children, are available from Evans Newsagents in Crediton, from Band members and will also be available at the door.

As in other years, the Band will be kept busy playing a number of times in the run-up to Christmas Day.

Tomorrow, Saturday, November 26, the band will play in the car park at Crediton Congregational Church from 4.30pm to 5.30pm before the parade and Christmas Lights Switch-On.

On Saturday, December 10, the Band will play for the Senior Citizens’ Party from 1.30pm to 2pm at the Boniface Centre, followed by the Christmas Concert in the evening.

On Sunday, December 11, the Band will play for the Christingle in Crediton Parish Church.

On Wednesday, December 14, the Band will play from 7.30pm for a concert at Yeoford and then on Friday, December 16 from 8pm at Crediton Bowling Club.

The Band will play at the Tesco Store at Wellparks in Crediton from 10am to 12 noon and also in Crediton High Street on Saturday, December 17.

On Tuesday, December 20, the Band will play from 6pm at Morrisons store in Mill Street, Crediton.

On Wednesday, December 21, the Band will present “Carols around the Christmas Tree” from 7pm to 8pm in Crediton Town Square.

On Christmas Eve, the Band will play from 10am to 12 noon at the Tesco Store at Wellparks in Crediton and also in Crediton High Street.
