THE recent market held at Zeal Monachorum Village Hall included a Comic Relief stall run by Sophie Lyon and Isabel Harris.
As well as the sale of homemade cakes, chutney and marmalade, there was a chance to win two hampers, guess the weight of the Red Nose Cake, guess the number of sweets in a jar and take home a sheet of famous people to name.
The winners of the hampers were Ian Ringrose and Jan Hollingsworth.
The winner of the Red Nose Cake was Ian Ringrose who was only 10 grams out with his guess of 1.35kg.
The winner of the sweets in a jar was Sally Rowden who was only seven out with her guess of 403.
The winner of the famous faces will be announced in the May Monachorum Matters magazine and a prize awarded at the May Village Market.
Sadie and Isabel thank all those who generously supported the Comic Relief Stall, which raised £163.60.
A special mention to Ken Down who donated three homemade wooden items which sold after the event.
