IN THE run up to Easter, the Residents of Hillbrow Residential Care Home in Crediton held an Easter Bonnet Parade.

Residents and their key-carers worked together to produce an amazing array of bonnets which featured rabbits, sheep, chicks and lots of flowers.

Eric Parkes, President of Crediton & District Lions Club, had the difficult task of picking a winner and selected a very original design of a cuckoo clock.

The winning resident and carer received flowers and a gift voucher.

This was part of a busy programme of fun, Easter-themed activities including making Easter cards, crafts, cake making and the ever-popular Easter draw.
