THE ladies of the long-running Coldridge "Knit and Natter" group met recently at Rockfield, Coldridge, to exhibit the results of their labours produced during the last 12 months.

The special guest was Yvonne Pinn. In addition to the knitted wares on show, the group has already sent much of their products to the needy in Madagascar, Moldova, Bulgaria, to name but a few, as well as producing a veritable "heap" of Shoe Boxes of simple, everyday essentials.

After a brief prayer and the singing of the Harvest Hymn “We Plough the Fields and Scatter”, the group then adjourned to The Devonshire Dumpling at Morchard Road for its well-earned and very enjoyable annual lunch.
