LOADS of books, lovely home-made cakes and preserves, some plants and other bits and pieces all combined to make a successful coffee morning for Crediton History and Museum Society on Saturday, February 27.

Copies of the society’s spring quiz could be bought to raise funds while visitors could check out the facilities such as the family research corner.

The morning was well-attended and raised almost £150.
